Greg Baker

is the managing member of Greg Baker, Attorneys at Law, PLLC. Greg has over thirty years of experience in the law and a member of the Virginia State Bar. He has served as a state court judge, drug court judge, commissioner of accounts, special prosecutor, defense attorney, and county and town attorney, managed several general practice law firms and been a law school professor at three Virginia law schools where he has helped many students pass the Virginia Bar Examination. He is a law graduate of the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.

Greg Baker has served the 29th Judicial Circuit of Virginia to the Virginia State Bar Council. The Council is the governing body for the Virginia State Bar that oversees the operation of the bar and lawyers in general as well as working with the judicial branch to improve the administration of justice.

Mr. Baker is appointed as a Commissioner of Accounts by the Circuit Courts of Dickenson and Wise Counties. He also currently serves as Town Attorney for the Town of Clinchco and local government law consultant to the Town of Pound.

Greg grew up in Clintwood, Dickenson County, Virginia and considers it a real privilege to practice in the Southwest Virginia coalfield counties. Greg’s focus is criminal law, representing children as a guardian ad litem and personal injury and other accident cases. He believes his vast experience in the law makes him uniquely qualified to educate, counsel and represent you in a very effective manner. He is keenly aware of the importance of each case to the client and strives to give your case all the time and attention it deserves.
