Susan J. Wood

Susan J. Wood is an attorney at Greg Baker, Attorneys at Law, PLLC. Susan is a member of the Virginia State Bar who primarily practices family law, including child custody, divorce, and adoption. Susan serves as Town Attorney for the Town of Clintwood. Prior to beginning private practice, she served as a judicial law clerk to Circuit Court Judge Henry A. Vanover. She gained valuable experience researching and analyzing legal issues before the Circuit Court.

Susan is a graduate of the Appalachian School of Law, Magna Cum Laude. While studying law, she served as an Associate Editor and Senior Notes and Comments Editor for the Appalachian Journal of Law. Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from King College (now King University), Magna Cum Laude.

Susan is a native of Haysi, Dickenson County, Virginia. She is honored to practice law in the community where she was born and raised.
